Yulin North opened just a year ago, and car brands already had their eye on the station. Not for show. Dealer marketing teams run the numbers: the people sitting in the station are exactly the buyers they want.
Top-city dealers have long advertised at airports, where ticket prices filter for high spenders. Yulin is different — the buyers live in counties and among returnees. The airport misses them; city billboards stay in town; a returnee steps off the train and heads home, never seeing them. The station is the first screen a returnee sees, and dealers cannot skip it.
1. The station is full of the people cars want
Over 70% of rail passengers are business commuters, middle-class families and young educated earners — the core car-buying crowd. One study says over 60% of potential car buyers ride HSR at least four times a year. They sit there in the exact window of comparing and pricing; an ad hits harder than a phone scroll.

2. Showroom visits really climb
At Harbin Haxi station, one brand rented an LED cube column for 30 days. Third-party data: 2.4M effective impressions, 85% reach, 30% brand lift, 20% regional sales lift. At Shandong Sishui South, another brand put AR test-drive on a platform light box — scan for a 3D model, 1,700 sales leads in two months. In 2026 several NEV makers planted themselves in core hub waiting halls; county showroom visits rose 32%, regional awareness 47%.
Yulin confirms it too. A brand at Yulin North ran a QR; that week, plenty of walk-ins said they came because they saw it at the station. The county-conversion numbers show up across Lianping's stations.

3. How the three stations split buyers
Yulin North is the first stop for out-of-town buyers and returnees — put the hero model, flagship and test-drive QR. Xingye South and Hengzhou catch county and township buyers within dealer radius; they respond to "see a car near home" with store address and visit gift, not spec sheets.
| Station | Who it meets | What to run |
| Yulin North | Returnees, out-of-town buyers | Hero model, test-drive QR |
| Xingye South | County locals | Store address, visit gift |
| Hengzhou | Township buyers | See-car invite, route guide |
4. Layout that gets scans
Big hero shot fills the visual; don't shrink it to a corner. Slogan in plain words like "stop by on your way home"; skip "smart travel new benchmark" that even your own staff can't parse. QR to test-drive or gift, corner only, under 5%. Leave specs for the showroom — the station does one job: make them remember you, scan you.
5. Time the windows
Car buying has seasons. The Spring Festival return is the biggest county push — people come home with their year-end bonus, compare on the spot, sign on the spot. May fairs and golden September-October are volume spikes too. Cover the window plus a week each side so both-way travelers catch it. Seven days alone wastes the heat just as it builds.
6. Lock before the line opens
The Nan-Yu line carried 2.75 million in its first year; Yulin North now runs five to six thousand a day. After the Yu-Cen section opens end of 2026 and the full line in 2027, it climbs to 10-20k daily — and the rate card moves. Dealers run car-buying seasons every year; lock the three-station package early and you pay less than buying per event, and keep the good spots.
