Most think station ads belong to liquor and real estate. Look at 2026 Labor Day outdoor spend: 3C digital ranked second at 19.7%, just under beverages' 31.2%. Xiaomi's list price hit 195M, Honor 168M, Huawei 151M; vivo 42M, OPPO 38M — all poured into hub screens. Phone brands long treat stations as the main stage for launches, not just elevator ads.
1. Why stations
Shanghai Hongqiao runs 300k daily; 42 fixed ad slots, with Huawei Cloud, China Mobile Cloud, Flyco, Gree on the waiting-hall and gate C-positions. On the screens between gate info loops run Tailleen shoes, FAW-VW and more. Phone brands cluster because stations draw business, tourist and returnee youth — exactly the upgrade-and-buy crowd.
▲ Yulin North screens — loop specific models in idle wait time, high frequency, deep memory
Station CPM can drop to 1.19 yuan, a tenth of feeds. No click fee, no algorithm swing, one buy, lasting exposure. For high-ticket 3C, station conversion beats metro by 1.8–2.4x.
2. Yulin's phone business meets that crowd
Yulin sends many workers out; each Spring Festival the Nan-Yu line peaks, and returnees land wanting a new phone, broadband, accessories. Yulin North now runs 5–6k daily; after Yu-Cen opens end-2026 and full line 2027, it climbs to 10–20k, returnees and business travelers doubling.
Local phone malls, carrier stores, accessory shops face this flowing crowd. A station face costs less than a mall screen, and reaches travelers before they leave Yulin. Many work away on a different brand; upgrading home is real demand.

3. Three stations, three jobs
Yulin North meets out-of-town buyers and returnees — flagship image, launch. Xingye South serves county towns — trade-in, plan deals. Hengzhou draws tea traders and visitors — store pointer, in-store perks.
Mix: LED for image, screens for specific models, light boxes for long hold. One station, one message, beats a wall of copy. Don't run one week; new models move fast but stations win on frequency — four weeks minimum to break memory. Screens loop hundreds a day; two trips and it sticks.
4. Don't make it a billboard blight
Copy under eight characters, key visual over 70%, QR in the corner for trade-in or coupon. No absolute claims — the Ad Law bounds that. A real product shot beats text blocks; one glance tells the sell.
5. Lock slots before the line, now cheapest
The Nan-Yu line carried 2.75M in year one. The three-station package floor is 700k/year on a six-year term: 97 light boxes, 152 sqm LED, 14 screens — a clear media list, no build-from-zero. Once Yu-Cen opens, flow doubles, good slots go to brands first, then price rises. The package can still be negotiated; wait till the station booms and the best boxes and LEDs are gone.
